Location

Northumberlandia, Blagdon Lane, Cramlington, NE23 8AU (Start Line + Parking).

Parking is free, marshals will be on-site to assist. There is additional overflow car parking, however, we ask that you car share where possible to help reduce the number of cars on-site. Please do not park in the Snowy Owl pub.

How much?

5K TRAIL RACE – Entry fee is £14 for club runners and £16 for non-affiliated runner. Entry includes a custom Northumberlandia Trail Race medal and race timing. All entrants must be 15 or older at time of event. Held under UK Athletics Rules. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male/Female.

2K JUNIOR TRAIL RACE – Entry fee is £8 and includes a custom Northumberlandia Trail Race medal. Marshals will be positioned all along the race route for the safety of the children, however, adults are welcome to accompany the children during the race, but you are not required to register.

Event Schedule

09:00 – Registration opens

10:00 – Start of 2K JUNIOR TRAIL RACE

10:55 – Event Briefing for 5K Trail Race

11:00 – Start of 5K Trail Race

12.30 – Run course closes

Registration

Registration will be on the morning of the race in cafe at the entrance to the park. You will be supplied with a run number and safety pins will be available. Please note that run numbers will not be posted out. It is recommended that runners arrive at least an hour before the start to get parked, warm up and register.

Kit

No special kit is required, but dress appropriately for the day dependant on conditions. For safety reasons, the use of devices with headphones are not permitted.

Facilities on site

Onsite cafe and toilets. Please note there are no changing facilities or bag storage onsite.

Run Timing

We will be recording your race time as you cross the finish line so please ensure your run number is visible on your front. Results will be posted on the event website following the conclusion of the event.

Refreshments at the finish

Water will be provided at the finish for all runners. The onsite cafe will have available a variety of refreshments for purchase.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male/female for 5K Trail Race.

Medical Information

The Northumberland 5K Trail Run will need some dedicated training before hand so please prepare accordingly. Medical support will be provided for the event. If you feel ill on the day or have experienced flu-like symptoms, diarrhoea or a fever two to three days prior to the event, do not run. If you start to feel unwell during the race, slow your pace. Seek advice early from a race marshal or medical staff if you do not improve.
